We believe there is one God, who created all things and is revealed as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God loves people deeply and invites us into a relationship with Him.

Jesus Christ is the one and only Son of God, fully God and fully human. He came to earth to reveal who God is through His life, miracles, teachings, and sinless example. He died on the cross to take the sins of the world upon Himself, rose bodily from the grave, and will return as King and Lord. Jesus desires a real and personal relationship with every person.

The Holy Spirit is co-equal with God the Father and God the Son. He dwells in each member of God’s family as a Helper and Guide. It is through the work of the Holy Spirit that a person comes to salvation. At the point of salvation, the Holy Spirit comes to live in our physical bodies as His home and He begins the work of sanctification in us. Though we will never be sinless in this life the Holy Spirit does help us sin less as we conform more to the image of Christ. The works of the flesh begin to fade and the fruit of the Spirit begins to appear as we allow God’s spirit to lead us on a daily basis.

We believe the Bible tells the story of God’s relationship with people and helps us understand who God is, who we are, and what it means to follow Jesus. We believe it is inspired by God and continues to guide and shape our lives today.

The Church is God’s spiritual family, made up of all who trust in Jesus and follow Him. It is not a building or any single group of believers, and to belong to the Church is to belong to Jesus. He is the Head and the Church is His body. God’s desire is for the Church is unity. We gather regularly to worship Jesus, and we use our unique gifts to serve Him, love and encourage one another, and work to keep unity. As we love each other and stay united, the world around us will recognize that we belong to Jesus by the love we share with one another. The Church’s purpose is to do God’s will by making and growing followers of Christ.

We believe that water baptism by immersion serves as the point at which we die to our lost selves, are buried, and are raised to a resurrected life in Christ. We believe that in baptism sins are washed away through faith and because of grace. We believe that anyone who hears the gospel message responds to that good news by being baptized into Christ Jesus. As followers of Jesus, we decide to follow His example and to do the things He asks of us. Jesus was baptized and told us to be baptized.

We believe every person is created in the image of God and deeply loved by Him. At the same time, all of us experience the brokenness of sin, which affects our relationship with God, with others, and with ourselves. Through Jesus, God offers forgiveness, healing, and new life.

We believe that God created mankind in His image. Male and female – sexually and biologically different but with equal value and access to God through faith in Jesus Christ. Adam and Eve were created to complement each other in a one-flesh union we call marriage. We also believe in the value of each individual. Singleness is an equally holy pursuit and expression for followers of Jesus. For those who decide to marry, we believe God ordained marriage to be between one man and one woman. It is only within this covenantal relationship God has given the gift of sex, and he declares it good! This marriage relationship can serve as an example of the love Christ has for the church.

We believe Jesus will return visibly and personally. Those who trust in Him will live with Him forever. Until that day, we live with confident hope because the cross has already secured our future. Until then we partner with God in bringing Heaven to earth until He comes.
